At present, the use of ozone in various applications has been studied, such as water treatment, domestic and industrial wastewater treatment, medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, agriculture, environmental disinfection and food preservation. With the rapid growth of ozone use, the improvement of ozone generation through the ozone generator system is crucial. Ozone is considered to be the second largest oxidant, which can be used for water treatment on a large scale, and has been used by many countries in thousands of treatment systems. Ozone can be produced in three ways: electrolysis, ultraviolet (UV) and corona discharge effect. In commercial ozone generators, ozone is mainly produced by ultraviolet radiation and corona effect. However, ultraviolet radiation cannot meet the mass production required by various industries. In this way, corona discharge is the most common method to obtain a large amount of ozone. In the corona discharge process, ozone is generated by discharging in a stainless steel tube called an ozone reactor.

Corona discharge method uses high-speed electric bombardment to decompose oxygen into oxygen atoms, and then oxygen atoms form ozone through three-body collision reaction. Therefore, how to provide oxygen source for ozone production is one of the key processes in ozone treatment of wastewater.

There are four oxygen supply options: liquid oxygen tank supply, small oxygen generator supply, standby oxygen rod and pipeline supply.
